FRENCHY'S OZONA CRAB COMPANY operates under its state license in Ozona, Florida, five miles south of Tarpon Springs and ten miles north of Clearwater Beach. The Saint Joseph Sound and the Gulf of Mexico is our fishery.

The community of Ozona was founded by fishermen and citrus growers and has grown to become an active sport-fishing and recreational boating area (although it is still one of Florida's best kept secrets). This quiet town supports a small fleet of fishermen that consistently produce the finest and largest stone crab claws available.

Originally known as the "Ozona Fish Company", dating back to 1916, Frenchy's Ozona Stone Crab, Inc. consists of independent crabbers that focus their efforts only on -- the Florida Stone Crab.

Frenchy's Ozona Stone Crab Co. is the only processing plant dedicated solely to the delicious Stone Crab claw. Local crabbers focus strictly on what they do best - crabbing. Frenchy's Ozona Stone Crab provides the boat docks and all the materials for them to harvest the Stone Crab. Our state-of-the-art facility cooks the fresh catch the same day they are harvested.
